Lava Stone, also known as Lava Rock or Basalt, is the remnants of a volcanic eruption - formed from magma hardened into rock. It is primarily composed of minerals such as Pyroxene, Olivine, & Plagioclase, which gives it a dark grey to black colour. Often shaped into beads, Lava Stone is lightweight & porous (due to gases escaping as lava solidifies) which makes it fantastic for using alongside essential oils.
